Pre-1960 buses are different. Smaller rear window, different vents, M-codes that exist on no other year.

1958 is early Type 2 territory · the first proper production run after the 1950–1955 transitional buses. Small rear window, two-piece windscreen with thicker chrome dividers, original M-coded paint scheme. This one's the German-build · originally registered in West Germany, exported to South Africa decades later, now waiting for the right restorer.
