A 23-window Samba in turquoise
The 23-window Samba was Volkswagen at its most ambitious · twenty-three pieces of glass cut into one body, intended for sightseeing tours in the Alps. Blue is one of the few that survived intact. Mechanically rebuilt and restored in South Africa, with the period-correct skylight strip running the length of the roof. Sits on whitewall tyres and a chrome bumper that was straightened, not replaced.
